Khat Khati T-shirt

Sam Cafe and Aghabi-Bee have collaborated on a special collection of three T-shirts named "Khat-Khati" (Scribbles), "Agha Sam," and "Gol o Zagh" (Flower and Crow).

This collaboration is an effort to connect two different worlds with a similar approach—an approach based on quality and creativity. The identity of Sam Cafe is rooted in everyday lifestyle, authenticity, and being in the flow, while Aghabi-Bee’s perspective is full of playfulness, color, and creativity.

The artist behind this collection drew inspiration from light, joy, and a sense of nostalgia—elements that, like coffee, remind us of growth, blessing, and shared experience. From reimagining the nostalgic Qajar-era "Flower and Bird" motifs and childhood sketchbooks to a fresh take on crows, who have now become colorful and beloved companions. These commonalities sparked the creation of a work that is not merely a wearable product but an expression of nostalgia, happiness, and collective feeling—just like a cup of coffee that makes simple moments valuable.

The design process began in September 2024 (Shahrivar 1403 in the Persian calendar) with nine initial sketches, followed by conversations and collaboration with the Sam Cafe team, and finally, silk-screen printing in one of Tehran’s oldest specialized workshops. The three final designs are not only a memento of a heartfelt collaboration but also create a unique experience grounded in shared values.
